TEAM MEMBER SAFETY PROTOCOLS

PERSONAL HYGIENE:

All team members must properly and frequently wash their hands, including upon arrival to work and every 30 minutes thereafter, while on shift. Hands must be washed between each change of gloves. Team members have been trained in proper food-handling protocols in order to reduce person-to-person contact.

EMPLOYEE SCREENINGS:
All team members will be screened prior to each shift, including logged temperature checks. Employee will have to give a verbal disclosure that they are not sick, nor have they been in close contact with anyone experiencing signs of sickness.

PROPER PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT:
All team members must wear a mask and follow CDC recommended standards of use of such equipment at all times. Malco Theatres will provide approved masks and gloves at no cost to team members. Gloves must be replaced every 30 minutes and discarded when the employee washes his/her hands. If at any time the gloves become contaminated with a foreign substance, the gloves are to be changed out and replaced with fresh ones.

THEATRE SAFETY PROTOCOLS

DISINFECTING OF HIGH-CONTACT SURFACES:
High-contact surfaces (counter tops, faucets, kiosks, railings, etc.) will be wiped down with a sanitizing agent at a minimum of once every 30 minutes. Auditorium doors will be kept open at all times. We will also maintain nightly deep cleaning of all auditoriums, bathrooms and high-traffic areas. RESTROOMS: Restrooms will be cleaned and sanitized every 30 minutes.

WATER FOUNTAINS:
All water fountains will remain closed.

AUDITORIUM CLEANING:
Additional time is being scheduled between shows to allow for deeper cleaning of auditoriums. Chair surfaces, arm rests, cup holders and rails will be sanitized accordingly. AIR FILTERS: Air conditioning unit filtration systems have been upgraded to MERV-11 filters. These air filters remove a higher percentage of contaminants in the air and follow the CDC guidelines for filtration and air cleaning systems.

SANITIZER:
All locations will have Sanitizer Stations placed throughout the building.

FACE COVERINGS: 
Guest face coverings and/or masks are REQUIRED at all theatres. Facial coverings may be removed once inside the auditorium while eating or drinking, but must be worn at all other times inside the building. Masks at the Summer Drive-In are required for guests accessing the restrooms and concession lines. Masks are not required if guests are sitting outside of parked cars.

SAFE SOCIAL-DISTANCING:
Floor decals will be used and placed 6 ft. apart to designate safe social distancing at the box office, kiosk, concession stand and any other area in which guests may queue.

CONTACTLESS PAYMENTS:
All guests are encouraged to purchase advance tickets via www.malco.com or the Malco app in order to facilitate contactless payment methods.

CONTACTLESS TICKET REDEMPTION:
Pre-purchased tickets will be scanned at the usher stands or at freestanding kiosks. Both will be cleaned and sanitized on a regular basis.

AUDITORIUM SEATING:
Theatres with traditional seating arrangements will follow all social distancing protocols. Groups must be at least 6 ft. apart, with every-other-row empty. If you arrive with a family, you may sit together, but respect others and maintain a healthy social distance. Theatres with recliner seating are already distanced between rows.

CONCESSIONS SAFETY PROTOCOLS

CONCESSION STAND:
The number of concession registers have been reduced and reconfigured to allow for six foot spacing between guests.

BARRIERS:
Plexiglass barriers have been installed at registers. MENU ITEMS: Items may be limited to ensure that we are able to maintain the safest possible food-handling environment. CONDIMENTS: Individual sealed condiments will be served upon request.

IN-THEATRE SERVICE:
This service has been temporaritly suspended in order to reduce person-to-person contact.

REFILLS:
To reduce contact points, all popcorn containers and fountain drinks cups will be single service use only. Guests purchasing a refillable option will be given a fresh container and/or cup for the refill.
